Privacy policy
This page is a courtesy translation. Only the German version is legally binding.
Sections 3 to 5 describe what this website technically does in practice. The other sections are placeholders and still need to be completed with a full, GDPR-compliant statement (e.g. by a specialist lawyer).
1. Controller

2. Getting in touch
If you contact us via the contact form, by email, by phone or via WhatsApp, we process the data you provide solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The contact form transmits your details in encrypted form to our own customer management system (crm.merger-mobile.de); there they are stored in a database at Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to handle your request and no statutory retention obligations apply. Only if the transmission fails does the form offer to send the message yourself via WhatsApp instead.
3. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored is your consent decision, so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit:
- Name:
mm-consent(localStorage, not a cookie)- Content:
- Your choice, the time of the decision and the version of this notice text
- Purpose:
- Proof and persistence of your consent
- Legal basis:
- § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary), Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR
- Retention period:
- until you change it in the cookie settings or delete your browser data
The entry stays in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
4. Embedded map (Google Maps)
On the home page we embed a Google Maps map in the “Location” section. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The map is only loaded after your explicit consent. As long as you have not agreed, we show a preview in its place and no connection to Google is established. Only when you choose “Accept all” or “Load map” is data transferred to Google - in particular your IP address, information about your browser and device and the page visited. This may involve a transfer to the USA.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. For the transfer to third countries we rely on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR and on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which Google LLC has joined. You can find more in Google's privacy policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future - the map is then removed immediately:
You can also reach our address and the route to the store without the embedded map - via the details in the “Location” section and the “Get directions” link.
5. Audience measurement
To evaluate page views we use Umami, analytics software that we operate ourselves. Umami sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, creates no cross-device or cross-site profiles and passes no data to third parties. Only aggregated, anonymous figures are collected, such as the page visited, approximate region of origin and device type; the IP address is not stored. Therefore no consent is required under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing this website to meet demand, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability under the GDPR. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
